The golf resort was very quiet and peaceful. I was unaware of the people around us which was good as I wanted a quiet break. The interior of the lodges were to a very high standard. Miss S, Saffron Walden, Essex 15 March 2011
This was an excellent midweek break in beautiful surroundings in first class accommodation. Our first stay in a Lodge but we shall be booking again before Christmas to have a similar experience in Yorkshire! Well done! We shall certainly be telling our friends about this UK holiday experience. Mr J, Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire 12 November 2010
Wonderful accommodation and helpful staff. Perfectly positioned for visiting the local area and the close proximity to Castle Drogo was a real plus. We had such a lovely family break away. We would certainly recommend this holiday to our friends. Mr C, Bristol, Avon 31 October 2010
The log cabins we stayed in were excellent. We found them warm, comfortable and well equipped. The kid's loved fishing in the ponds on site and we can't wait to go back again. Mrs C, Waterlooville, Hampshire 11 September 2010
We enjoyed our holiday and our lodge was in a very good position being the first one, which gave us uninterrupted views of the evening sun and sunset. The location was ideal for Dartmoor and was close to Exeter. It was a bit further to go to the sea. Mrs F, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire 06 September 2010
Tranquil location, scenic surroundings, great cottage, very cosy environment. Dr K, Eastleigh, Hampshire 30 August 2010
Great location for a relaxing holiday. Only 30 minutes to the coast. The lodges are very comfortable and clean and have dish washer, washing machine, iron/board and hair dryer. Plenty of room for the kids to play out and burn off some energy. We had a 4 course Sunday Lunch at the golf club for £10.95 and it was lovely. We can definitely recommend the lodges for a comfortable and relaxing holiday in Devon. Mrs M, Accrington, Lancashire 30 August 2010
My husband and our two children (9 and 5) had a a fabulous short break. The accommodation was beautiful and in an excellent position for visting Dartmoor and the South Devon beaches. We decided to BBQ on 2 of our evenings and when we returned from our day out the BBQ was waiting for us on the covered veranda. We sat out each evening and watched the bats flying nearby. We will definitely be booking to come back. Mrs H, Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire 26 August 2010
An excellent lodge in a perfect and tranquil setting in a perfect location for places near by and not far from the Moors, we highly recommend this to all ages. Mrs C, Tonbridge, Kent 24 August 2010
The club house restuarant meals were of good quailty, value for money and the service was very good too. Mrs P, Birkenhead, Merseyside 15 August 2010
Very much for the golfer but also for exploring the area. Very clean, relaxing and enjoyable food at restaurant can't wait to go again. Mr S, Dorchester, Dorset 07 August 2010
Very nice high standard lodge in a very beautiful environment. Mr S, Bergen, Limburg 03 August 2010
As a family with 2 children, we stayed for 5 days. Accomadation was excellent, beds very comfortable, good base to explore Dartmoor and the coastal resorts plenty of activities for family to choose from. Added bonus if you are a golfer of being on golf course, youngest daughter liked the driving range and putting green! Discount off green fees. Clubhouse was family friendly if you did not want to cook every night. Exeter is nearby with supermarkets and plenty of places to eat. Mr A, Witney, Oxfordshire 03 August 2010
The lodges were fantastic, they looked great on the website but were even better in real life !! Couldn't fault anything with regards to booking and the actual holiday 5 * ! Mrs L, Worcester, Worcestershire 02 August 2010
First rate accommodation. If you're looking for somewhere to unwind you couldn't do better. Great views from the lodge. Although it is part of a golf club you don't have to be a golfer to enjoy the park. Mrs L, Southminster, Essex 01 August 2010
I would recommend this holiday to all my friends and famliy, we had a fantastic time everything was just perfect, the cabin location and staff were all great. Mr R, Wembley, Middlesex 28 July 2010
The lodge was beautiful and in a perfect location for travelling in both Devon and Cornwall. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing break. Mrs B, Newtown, Powys 12 July 2010
My husband and I and our 2 teenage sons would definitely recommend staying at Dartmoor Edge Lodges on Fingle Glen golf course. The location was perfect if you wanted to play golf or explore the surrounding countryside. We managed to do both things during our 4 night stay. We found many friendly golf courses in close proximity to the site charging reasonable green fees to visitors. The lodge was first-class and the restaurant food very tasty and reasonably priced. Overall we had a great time and are seriously considering returning in the future-possibly without the children!
Mrs R, Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire 06 June 2010
We booked the lodge 4 days before we went and it was very good value for money. The lodge was ideal for our family of 4 including 2 teenagers. Two bathrooms are a godsend! The lodge was very clean and had everything we could have wished for including dishwasher and TV/DVD! The site is ideally situated near the motorway and not too far from Dartmoor and attractions. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked to return in June! Mrs K, Elland, West Yorkshire 06 May 2010
The accommodation was excellent, lovely and clean. If you are a golf lover, which my teenage son is, then this park is a must. The lodges are located right on the edge of the course. Mrs B, Eastleigh 26 April 2010
Great quality lodges with great views over a relaxed and friendly golf course. Spacious, well equipped, modern decor and very comfortable beds. Opportunities to try your hand at the golf driving range, and even the kids (under 7) were able to have a go. The Kings Arms Pub in the local village Tedburn St Mary serves good food, is family friendly and had very helpful staff. Mr F, CAMBERLEY, Surrey 18 April 2010
I would definitely recommend this holiday. The lodge was spacious, very warm, and the attention to detail was first class - bed linen and towels were provided, along with every mod con you would expect to have in your own home. The location was perfect for travelling and we will certainly be going back. Mrs B, BOSTON, Lincolnshire 06 March 2010
I would recommend this holiday to my friends. The overall holiday was really good, relaxing and very good value for money. The location is perfect - very quiet and tranquil, just what the doctor ordered - thanks Hoseasons! Mr W, DRIFFIELD, North Humberside 09 February 2010
A fantastic location for visits to Devon and Cornwall. Really nice facilities, a highly furnished property and the staff went out of their way to assist us. We will definitely come back! Mr S, EPPING, Essex 10 January 2010
It was a very relaxing and quiet place to be, and ideal if you're a golfer. The lodge which my wife and I stayed in was clean and spacious. Some people who were lucky enough to have had a hot tub were enjoying them even in the hard frost and snow, along with the compulsory bottle of wine of course!!! An excellent holiday, and we hope to come again next year! Mrs L, Bristol, Avon 05 January 2010
The Fairway Lodge was fabulous - all very modern, and everything you needed was there. The weather was really icy during our stay but the heating inside the log cabin was excellent. Overall we would give 10 out of 10 for this accommodation, we had a lovely Xmas break and would like to visit again. Mrs P, Caldicot, Gwent 28 December 2009
The lodge and surrounding countryside was fantastic. Mr G, IPSWICH 13 September 2009
Have stayed in several Hoseasons Lodges and found them all to be of a good standard. Like the fact that they are normally out in the country but usually easily accessible. This one is only a minute from a major road and only 10 minutes from Exeter. It was an added bonus to have a club house on site where they served excellent meals. Would be heaven for golfers I am sure but not wishing to use the golfing facilities was ok as well. Mr M, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire 02 September 2009
I would recommend Dartmoor Edge Lodges one hundred percent as it was an absolute dream. When you picture a pine lodge in your mind, well this far outweighed our expectations. The location was very central, an easy drive and a short distance to Torquay, Totnes, Exmouth and many others. There was so much to see and do, and it was a pleasure to return to the tranquility of the lodge after a busy day. We would have no hesitation in recommending this park. Mrs E, BISHOP'S STORTFORD, Hertfordshire 01 September 2009
The lodges were in an excellent condition and I would highly recommend them. The location of the lodges provided an excellent base to travel to local tourist attractions. Miss C, GREENHITHE, Kent 25 August 2009
This was the best accommodation that we have ever stayed in. The lodge was only 2 years old and we felt like we had our luxuries from home - dishwasher, washer/dryer, flat screen tv, dvd player, beautiful furniture, bedding, accessories, lamps, etc, etc - could go on and on!! Mrs B, Gravesend, Kent 23 August 2009
This was the most luxurious self catering accommodation we have stayed in. It was lovely to find tea coffee milk and sugar on arrival. We have had the most relaxing time and are hoping to return next year! Mrs P, SALISBURY 15 August 2009
We just had a short break here and we didn't want to leave. The lodge was out of this world, so clean and modern and everything you need is there. Mr S, Dorchester, Dorset 03 August 2009
An excellent location for both golfers and non golfers or if you are looking to get away from the bustle of city life. Beautiful scenery but not too far from civilisation if required, although you do need a car. miss S, SUTTON COLDFIELD, West Midlands 30 July 2009
We were very happy with the quality of the accommodation, the lodges were excellent, in pristine condition with all the required items you needed for a self catering holiday. We would not hesitate to recommend these lodges to people who want to use it as a base to discover Devon. Mrs. B, HATFIELD 27 July 2009
An extremely comfortable and scenic lodge! Mr F, ST. IVES 26 July 2009
The lodge is in an ideal setting, very well furnished and the food in the Golf Club restaurant was excellent and good value for money. Mr B, SOUTHAMPTON 11 July 2009
Quiet, relaxing and very pleasant. Miss S, Solihull, West Midlands 05 July 2009
A very high standard of accommodation with the lodges situated right on the edge of the golf course. An excellent location being 3 miles outside of Exeter, yet situated in a rural and peaceful location. Mrs S, Congleton, Cheshire 21 June 2009
